When activated the lid opens to reveal  the singing and dancing feathered automaton bird. Turning his head, flapping his wings and tail and opening his beak while singing a joyful song. The tortoiseshell case is in impeccable condition (wich is rare due to the nature of the material). At the end of the song the  a small turquoise-feathered singing bird hides in a opening in a pierced oval grille. This is a the fusée movement with the 3 tulips for Rochat
