Impressive music box by Samuel Troll
Very large and exclusive music box made by Samuel Troll in Geneva.
The large mechanism plays 6 tunes of one of the 4 massive cylinders. It has a bright and rich tone and has 9 bells. The spare cylinders are stored in a seperate case.
The tune indicater, located to the top left of the cylinder, indicates the tune one can shose by the tuse selector at the top right of the cylinder. On top of the governor there is a speed regulator to adjust the speed. The mechanism is fixed with screws to the bottom of the case.
The fine case has inlayed brass and pewter linings, bird eye veneer and is raised on small legs. There is a glass dust cover.
